My last week all in one place!

Hey guys,

Man, this last week has been so busy, from my boyfriend visiting to my daughters first day of school. Where to start? Well, the first couple days he was out here I still had to work, so we didn’t do much from thurs-sun last week. He was able to hang out with my mom, visit the town, and get to know my daughter, and learn that the best part of Kanab is all the driving and scenery. He grew up in a small town in Connecticut, but currently lives in Orlando,FL so I was nervous to see how he would react to such a drastic change in surrounding.  He, of course loved it out here like I knew he would. Whenever we would drive somewhere he constantly had his phone out trying to take pictures. His gasps at the beauty made me appreciate it all the more!

On Monday, we decided to go to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. He said that it was on his bucket list, so it was heart-warming knowing we could cross it off together. It was a really great day, not too hot, not crowded, It was a perfect day. My daughter, mom, boyfriend, were a little scared by my adventurous nature. I was climbing on top of all the rocks, or going to the cliff and looking over, but in all honesty the same spots I was climbing a bunch of other tourist were climbing as well. So I wasn’t being that much of a daredevil.

Another place that we went while he was down here was the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site. It was really cool, apparently the story was that this guy was moving some rocks because he was going to build on his land. A specific rock flipped over and fell and exposed some dinosaur tracks, and that started the whole thing. I was surprised that it was an indoor building for the most part, but they actually built the building around the tracks, which was really cool too.
